Join us on Saturday Oct 17 as we hike Sleeping Beauty Mountain on the east side of Lake George for Slay the Peaks! We'll meet at the parking lot for Sleeping Beauty, which is at the end of Dacy Clearing Road, at the link below, for a 1030 AM start. Note that the hiking lot is about 1.5 miles at the end of Dacy Clearing Road, and you will drive through the "Hogtown" parking lot off Shelving Rock Road first - the Dacy Clearing Road continues at the far end of the parking lot, and while narrow, is in good shape. The summit of Sleeping Beauty features a beautiful panorama of Lake George, the Southern Adirondacks, and from the other direction, into Vermont. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles round trip.See you there!
